you can hike through. Cloud Forests, Tropical Rainforests, Transitional
Zone Forests, and Dry Tropical Forests are all found in Costa Rica.
Most hikes are not strenuous; but use a guide, because they know what
to look for!

Rica!

 |
Surfing:
Costa
Rica is a surfer's paradise. The North, Central and South Pacific all
offer fantastic surfing. Jaco Beach on the Central Pacific and Tamarindo

rule the day, and the bars/discos rule the night! Surfing is truly World-class
in Costa Rica.

Coast or you can take a horseback ride to La Fortuna Waterfall in the

Caño Island on the South Pacific has better snorkeling, but the
currents can be difficult.
